Wrinkle Reducing Injections and Dermal Fillers

At Weston Cottage Dental we offer Facial Aesthetic and Beauty Treatments to help patients achieve a more fresh and rejuvenated appearance. We pride ourselves in providing high quality facial aesthetic and beauty treatments which achieve subtle and natural results tailored to the individual needs of patients.

The ageing process is a certainty in life, affecting every nook and cranny of the body. Along with the wisdom, experience and accomplishments that come with getting older, there are changes that occur in our outward appearance. Even if you have great genes and look much younger than you are, age-related changes in our facial appearance are unavoidable. Not everyone is comfortable with that, and some might like to postpone embracing those changes. However, smoothing out those laughter and worry lines isn’t always easy. As we get older, wrinkles form because our skin becomes less elastic and much more susceptible to sun damage.

Our motto is ‘different not drastic’, aiming for a natural and refreshed look that people will notice, but won’t know the reason why. Complementing you on your younger and fresher appearance without necessarily knowing you have had any treatment at all. All treatments are carried out by our friendly surgically trained dentists who have a range of skills and plenty of experience to leave you feeling confident. We provide a free facial aesthetic consultation to our patients.

Wrinkle Reducing, Rejuvenating Treatments

Keeping your face smooth and supple is no easy task. Injectable anti-ageing treatments are a quick and convenient way to smooth out lines on the forehead, frown lines and around the eyes and mouth without any need for surgery.

Our injectables are with high quality products, in a clinical environment performed by highly qualified professionals.
As well as smoothing lines, with careful placement, anti-wrinkle injections can be used to arch the eyebrows, trim the masseter muscle (jaw slimming), treat gummy smiles and smooth pebbled and dimpled chins.

Our experts will carry out a free facial assessment and recommend treatments bespoke to your facial features to achieve a natural but rejuvenated appearance

Injectable anti-aging treatments are a quick and easy way to smooth out those lines of the forehead and around the eyes by relaxing muscles responsible for creating them. Made from a medically prescribed drug called botulinum toxin, the injections relax the specific muscles to stop the wrinkles forming. This is a prescription medicine and will only be used if your clinician considers it necessary. We make sure we only target the specific muscles  so your normal facial expressions are minimally  affected. Generally, the results will last between three to six months depending on the area treated.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers are the perfect option if you are looking to revitalise your appearance with more plump and youthful skin. The process used involves injections which fill out wrinkles and creases in the skin in order to achieve a smoother appearance. They can also be used to increase the volume and definition of the face. The filler is injected in a series of small injections which shouldn’t cause you pain but can sometimes feel slightly uncomfortable.

At Weston Cottage, we use premium fillers made from hyaluronic acid which is found naturally in the skin. Dermal fillers aren’t the same as neurotoxins like ‘Botox’. While rejuvenating injections are placed into muscle to ‘freeze’ them and reduce wrinkles, fillers smooth out the skin by restoring volume and filling in the wrinkles. Collagen used to be a common filler, but today, most fillers use hyaluronic acid. Thanks to its ability to store moisture, hyaluronic acid is responsible for giving skin a plump, hydrated look. Creams and serums cannot restore lost volume so the same extent as injectable hyaluronic acids can. Once injected, it can add to the natural plumping action, or replenish your body’s natural production of hyaluronic acid, which diminishes with age. Fillers can be used for prevention as well as to treat lines you already have. Our experts will carry out a free facial assessment and recommend treatments bespoke to your facial features to achieve a natural but rejuvenated appearance.

At Weston Cottage, we carry out Advanced Facial Aesthetics and offer a range of filler treatments:

Lip Fillers: Fillers can be used carefully to hydrate, shape and volumise your lips. We will carry out a thorough assessment to find out your treatment needs

Cheek Augmentation: We can use filler to restore lateral and medial volume loss on the cheeks which is a common sign of ageing

Non Surgical Rhinoplasty: Also known as ‘the liquid nose job’ this works by carefully injecting dermal filler on various points of the nose to improve the side profile and even out any bumps.

Non Surgical Face Lift: This minimally invasive procedure involves placing dermal filler at strategic sites of the face to lift, restructure and contour the face

Tear Trough Fillers: We can carefully place a light filler to treat the hollows under the eyes which can increase with ageing

Our experts will carry out an assessment with a holistic approach. We will plan treatments around the structure of your whole face and not individually so that treatments do not look out of place
